Your impact:

As a member of the Origination team (m/f/x) you are in direct contact with decision makers at Deloitte's largest private equity and corporate clients to discuss potential M&A opportunities that are aligned with their investment / stragetic criteria.

• Market analysis: Research market opportunities for private equity and corporate key clients taking into account their specific investment criteria and focus.
• Cooperation: Closely work with Deloitte partners to determine how best to support their clients in regards to Origination activities and participate in client discussions and ensure that all follow ups are coordinated in a timely manner.
• Expertise: Responsible for specific sector coverage and staying updated on the relevant latest news as well as identifying relevant market opportunities to present to clients. 
• Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams in Germany on market opportunities, go-to-market strategies, and ensuring data quality regarding an in-house developed Origination tool. 
• Coordination: Cross business and regional coordination with other Orig. teams in EMEA as well as with other business units in Deloitte Germany (Consulting, Tax, Legal etc.).

Your skillset:

• Degree in economics, business information technology
• Profound professional experience in the area of Business Development or Corporate Finance (e.g. at an investment bank, a credit institution, an M&A boutique or a consulting/advisory company) 
• Ideally, specific expertise in individual industrial sectors
• Committed team player who can work independently, has strong communication skills, has initial leadership experience and good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Very strong written and spoken German and English skills. Additional languages also a plus
